Eficacia posoperatoria: anestesia general más bloqueo del plexo cervical superficial frente anestesia general más infiltración local

Abstract

Objetivo: Comparar la eficacia posoperatoria de la anestesia general más bloqueo del plexo cervical superficial con la anestesia general más infiltración local en pacientes sometidos a tiroidectomía en el Centro Médico Naval. Diseño: Estudio observacional, analítico, longitudinal, cualitativo y prospectivo. Participantes: Muestra de 49 pacientes sometidos a tiroidectomía. Mediciones: Para valorar la efectividad posoperatoria se midieron los efectos de cada abordaje anestésico en la intensidad del dolor mediante la Escala Análoga Numérica y la reducción del uso de medicamentos. Resultados principales: La anestesia general más bloqueo del plexo cervical superficial redujo el uso de medicamentos en el 28.5% de los casos, y la puntuación media de dolor fue de 1.27 a las 12 horas del posoperatorio. Con la anestesia general más infiltración local se redujo el uso de medicamentos en el 16.3% de los casos y la puntuación media de dolor fue de 2.3 a las 12 horas del posoperatorio. Conclusiones: La anestesia general más bloqueo del plexo cervical superficial resultó más eficaz porque reduce el dolor y el uso de medicamentos en el posoperatorio.
