Intrinsicamente missionária em razão da boa-nova e do mandato de Jesus Cristo, naturalmente comunitária em função de sua referência à Santíssima Trindade, institucionalmente flexível de acordo com a realidade histórico-cultural em que se insere, preferencialmente identificada com os pobres e assumindo sua causa – eis as principais linhas da eclesiologia do Documento de Aparecida, destacadas pelo Autor.Abstract: Intrinsically missionary in view of the good tidings of Jesus Christ and His mandate, naturally communitarian because of its reference to the Holy Trinity, institutionally flexible in accordance with the historical and cultural reality in which it is inserted, preferentially identified with the poor and adopting their cause – these are the main lines of the ecclesiology of the Aparecida document as emphasized by the author.
