
Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o desenvolvimento da disciplina Tecnologia Mecânica e Torneamento de Acessórios no âmbito do PRONATEC considerando a teoria da aprendizagem significativa de David Ausubel como elemento potencializador do processo de ensino. Será discutido o planejamento pedagógico da disciplina e como a teoria ausubeliana foi incorporada à prática docente a partir das experiências do autor como professor da disciplina ministrada no curso de tornearia mecânica sob coordenação do Instituto Federal de Alagoas campus Coruripe. Serão destacadas as diferentes etapas que constituem o ensino significativo com ênfase nas subsunções necessários para a aprendizagem dos conceitos associados à ciência dos materiais metálicos, à tecnologia mecânica e aos processos de usinagem. Serão apresentados os resultados obtidos após a aplicação dos instrumentos metodológicos, constituídos por uma avaliação de conhecimentos prévios, quadros de análise aula a aula e uma avaliação de conhecimentos adquiridos permitindo identificar os benefícios oriundos desta teoria no campo da aprendizagem profissional. This article aims to analyze the development of the Mechanical Technology and Accessory Turning course within Pronatec, considering David Ausubel's theory of meaningful learning as a potentiating element of the teaching process. The pedagogical planning of the discipline and how the Ausubelian theory was incorporated into teaching practice will be discussed. The different stages that constitute the meaningful teaching will be highlighted, with emphasis on the necessary subsumers for learning the concepts associated with mechanical technology as well as in the turning processes. The results obtained after the application of the methodological tools will be presented, consisting of an assessment of previous knowledge, a class-by-class analysis framework and an evaluation of acquired knowledge, allowing to identify the benefits arising from this theory in their field of professional learning.
