Abstract

Esta obra apresenta uma visão abrangente e atualizada sobre os principais processos ecofisiológicos que determinam o desempenho das principais culturas agrícolas no Brasil. Ao integrar fisiologia vegetal, clima, solo e manejo, o livro explica como fatores como radiação, temperatura, água, fotossíntese, eficiência no uso da luz e relações solo–raiz influenciam diretamente o crescimento e a produtividade de espécies como soja, milho, café, cana-de-açúcar, algodão, cultivos de inverno e hortaliças. Com linguagem técnica, porém acessível, o autor oferece uma síntese sólida de conceitos e aplicações práticas, permitindo ao leitor compreender como decisões agronômicas dialogam com a fisiologia das plantas em diferentes ambientes.
