Essa cartilha é um guia abrangente sobre os territórios turísticos de Ilha Grande -PI com seu patrimônio cultural, artístico, ambiental e turístico, que estão retratados do mapeamento da cartografia social participativa do município. A cartografia social participativa foi uma iniciativa do Projeto de Extensão, da Universidade Federal do Delta do Parnaíba, em parceria com a Prefeitura Municipal de Ilha Grande, juntamente com suas secretarias de Agricultura e Pesca, Desenvolvimento Econômico, Turismo e Meio Ambiente, e associações e grupos sociais.
