Abstract

Os Programas de Residencia Multiprofissional e Uniprofissional da Universidade Federal do Ceara constituem modalidades de ensino de pos-graduacao lato sensu, destinados a profissionais da area da saude, sob a forma de curso de especializacao caracterizado por ensino em servico. Sao regulados pelas normas dos Ministerios da Educacao e da Saude, da Comissao Nacional de Residencia Multiprofissional (CNRMS) e, no âmbito da UFC, da Comissao de Residencia Multiprofissional e em Area Profissional da Saude (COREMU), e das unidades as quais cada programa e vinculado – Hospital Universitario Walter Cantidio e Maternidade Escola Assis Chateaubriand e as coordenacoes dos Programas. Com carga horaria de 60 horas semanais, incluindo plantoes, e duracao de dois anos, os programas tem como finalidade a formacao profissional como orientacao para o processo de cuidar, focado na concepcao de promocao de saude, prevencao de doencas ou agravos, recuperacao e reabilitacao da saude segundo as necessidades dos seres humanos, tendo em vista os principios do Sistema Unico de Saude (SUS), o direito a saude e cidadania. Visando o trabalho multiprofissional em equipe, as Residencias podem ser cursadas por bachareis em 8 profissoes: Enfermagem, Farmacia, Fisioterapia, Odontologia, Nutricao, Psicologia, Servico Social e Terapia Ocupacional (Portaria Interministerial MEC/MS no 16, de 22/12/2014). Os programas sao financiados com bolsa do Ministerio da Educacao. Possuem carga horaria total de 5.760 horas, em regime de dedicacao exclusiva.
