Abstract

O e-book que agora vem a público tem por objetivo manter a memória e sistematizar as conclusões do Seminário sobre Desenvolvimento Regional no RS intitulado Desigualdades Regionais e Planejamento Federativo: da Experiência Acumulada às Novas Perspectivas. O ciclo de debates ocorreu entre o dia 4 e 20 de julho de 2022 e foi um evento histórico. Talvez o mais importante Seminário sobre Desenvolvimento e Desigualdades Regionais já realizado no Rio Grande do Sul. A importância do evento deve-se a dois fatores. Em primeiro lugar pela amplitude dos temas tratados, representatividade e qualidade teórica dos expositores. Este aspecto será explorado de forma detalhada na Introdução do E-book, de autoria dos mentores e organizadores do Seminário. A Introdução se encontra logo após este Prefácio e do texto apresentando a Programação do Seminário (com links para as mesas).
