Noticias falsas (fake news) y Covid-19.

Abstract

La investigación fue realizada sobre las noticias falsas (fake news) y su influenciasocial ante la crisis de grave afectación planetaria (Pandemia COVID-19) y suincidencia en las actitudes, creencias, percepciones y comportamientos (influenciasocial) generadas por las noticias falsas - fake news - en muestras de población enlos ámbitos educativos, cívicos y clínicos, de Argentina, Brasil y Chile, durante losaños 2020 y 2022. La investigación transitó por varias disciplinas y lugaresgeográficos, bajo el ámbito de la psicología social, por lo tanto, el carácterexploratorio y su complejidad habilitaron una mirada particular concretada en unacombinación de métodos y técnicas, así como de población y muestras. Losresultados demostraron una clara influencia social de las noticias falsas en las áreasmencionadas en distintos países de Latinoamérica. Las noticias falsas son unfenómeno social que requiere atención, recolección de evidencia empírica yteorización para entender mejor el funcionamiento social de las personas en lascrisis futuras.
