Abstract

Prezados(as) leitores(as), diante do momento crítico que a saúde pública mundial precisou superar frente a pandemia da COVID-19, mesmo que ainda, não tenha superado totalmente, e talvez nunca consiga, o desenvolvimento de estudos acerca das vertentes e das consequências advindas dessa doença são imprescindíveis. Nesse cenário, esta obra se faz necessária, pois é fundamental compreendermos os impactos e as mudanças que essa pandemia causar na sociedade, principalmente nas questões fisiológicas e sociais da população mundial e, em especial, da população brasileira. Diante disso, esta obra traz evidências atualizadas acerca do aumento da violência contra a mulher no contexto da pandemia pela COVID-19, com destaque para subsídios para os educadores; o uso da tecnologia para ensino-aprendizagem utilizada no ensino superior pós-pandemia. Além do mais, há evidencias práticas sobre a análise comparativa das notificações de violência contra mulher: pré e durante a pandemia da COVID-19 no município de Belém, assim como sobre a síndrome de burnout em profissionais da enfermagem e sobre a importância do acompanhamento fisioterapêutico em crianças nascidas durante a pandemia de COVID-19.
