Abstract. Hypertension is a chronic disease that requires long-term treatment. Patient adherence to antihypertensive medication plays an important role in keeping blood pressure under control and preventing complications. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between medication adherence and blood pressure control among hypertensive patients at Puter Primary Health Center, Bandung. This research used a cross-sectional design involving 167 respondents. Data were obtained using the MMAS-8 questionnaire and medical records. The results showed that most patients were non-adherent to their medication (37.7%) and had uncontrolled blood pressure (58.1%). Chi-Square analysis revealed a significant relationship between medication adherence and blood pressure control (p < 0.005). Continuous patient education is necessary to improve adherence to antihypertensive therapy and minimize the risk of complication. Abstrak.
