
O presente artigo trata aspectos relacionados ao processo de construção de um ambiente significativo e contextualizado para a aprendizagem e socialização de uma aluna portadora de necessidades especiais múltiplas. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de uma experiência de ensino-aprendizagem no Laboratório de Informática do Grupo de Pesquisa e Suporte em Educação e Tecnologia (GPSETE), em uma universidade pública no interior do estado de São Paulo/Brasil (FCT-UNESP). Foi possível evidenciar progressos no desenvolvimento cognitivo, lingüístico, afetivo e social da envolvida, o que permite descrever esta experiência com intuito de contribuir para o processo educacional, favorecendo a inclusão digital e social. Computer use in Education: a tool for significant learning by students with special needs Abstract The present article deals with aspects related to the process of construction of a meaningful and contextualized learning and socialization environment for a student with multiple special needs. The data have been collected through a teaching and learning experience at the computer laboratory of the Research and Support Group in Education and Technology at a public university in the provinces of the state of São Paulo/ Brazil (FCT-UNESP). It was possible to evince progress in the cognitive, linguistic, emotional and social development of the person involved, which allows us to describe this experience as a contribution to an educational process which favors digital and social inclusion.
