Evaluación fitotóxica de digestatos líquidos obtenidos de co-digestión anaeróbica de residuos agropecuarios

Abstract

La inadecuada disposición de residuos orgánicos es una problemática ambiental. Una alternativa es la digestión anaeróbica conjunta (co-DA), donde la materia orgánica es degradada por microorganismos para producir biogás y digestato, el cual puede usarse como fertilizante. El digestato tiene una fracción líquida (biol) y una sólida. En este trabajo se evaluó la fitotoxicidad de bioles obtenidos de diferentes condiciones de co-DA. Se prepararon cuatro biodigestores batch y un control, todos al 70% de capacidad, 10% de sólidos base seca, tiempo de retención de 60 días y condiciones mesofílicas de temperatura, los tratamientos cargados con 80% residuo de hortalizas y 20% estiércol de cerdo. Un grupo fue ajustado a pH inicial 6 y otro a pH 8, y con o sin ajuste de relación Carbono:Nitrógeno a 20:1. Se monitoreó pH del proceso. La fitotoxicidad se midió con el índice de germinación (IG). El IG se calculó para los bioles de las semanas 3, 6 y 8 del proceso. Seis de los bioles evaluados en diferentes semanas no fueron fitotóxicos, los bioles obtenidos de las co-DA de ajuste pH 8 inicial fueron promotores de crecimiento en la semana 6, sin embargo el control obtuvo IG más altos que los tratamientos.
