This study seeks to create a bridge between the thought derived from the information science in connection with the concept of work in the context of the FRBR final report, and the thought developed almost simultaneously in relation with this concept, in the Anglo-American philosophy. We believe that the confrontation…Nous tentons de bâtir des ponts entre les réflexions issues des sciences de l’information à propos du concept d’œuvre dans le cadre du rapport final du FRBR et celles qui se sont développées, à peu près à la même époque sur ce concept dans le contexte de la philosophie anglo-américaine. Nous croyons que la confrontation de ces deux approches permet de mieux définir le concept d’œuvre, et clarifier la structure hiérarchique des entités au sein de laquelle cette œuvre est située dans le cadre des FRBR.
