Sello TIF: sinónimo de higiene e inocuidad en la Industria Alimentaria en México

Abstract

Cada día, la demanda de productos alimenticios de calidad e inocuos requieren de una mayor regulación en su proceso. Es fundamental el cumplimiento estricto de las normas sanitarias en toda la cadena de suministro para garantizar la inocuidad de los alimentos, es decir, desde el campo hasta la mesa del consumidor. En México, los establecimientos Tipo Inspección Federal (TIF) desempeñan un papel fundamental, en la aplicación de normas sanitarias y en la mejora continua de los procesos con reconocimiento nacional e internacional. Actualmente, a nivel nacional más de 400 establecimientos cuentan con esta certificación TIF con diferentes actividades y especies en la Industria Alimentaria. La certificación TIF es un sello de higiene y calidad que contribuye a los consumidores a proteger su salud y la de sus familias.
