Alternativas de resiliencia en comunidades costeras tamaulipecas

Abstract

A partir de una perspectiva crítica y transdisiplinaria, nace esta obra como fruto de un trabajo colectivo orientado a articular la ciencia con procesos de transformación social. En esta dirección, se examinan las diversas alternativas de resiliencia que suceden en La Pesca, Tamaulipas, donde los entramados comunitarios han desarrollo procesos para resistir, sobrellevar y sobreponerse ante condiciones adversas. La resiliencia, en este marco analítico, es concebida no como una cualidad estática o deseable perse, sino como un proceso sociohistórico complejo, dialéctico y con profundas implicaciones políticas, que revela tanto los factores estructurales que perpetúan la exclusión como las potencialidades locales para impulsar procesos de transformación. Sustentado en un amplio trabajo de campo, la obra promueve un diálogo entre el conocimiento científico y los saberes locales, permitiendo comprender cómo ciertas problemáticas sociales agudizan distintas dimensiones de vulnerabilidad. Aunado a ello, se documentan experiencias comunitarias que abren posibilidades para construir escenarios de desarrollo más justos y sostenibles. Se trata en suma, de una aportación relevante para quienes consideran que la ciencia, cuando se orienta hacia la incidencia social, puede construirse en una herramienta fundamental para la transformación estructural y la promoción de la justicia social.
