Abstract

En los ultimos anos hemos sido testigos de la proliferacion de negocios dedicados a la venta de bebidas y alimentos, tanto de personas con iniciativa asi como de las grandes cadenas y franquicias, lo que ha propiciado una competencia muy fuerte entre este tipo de establecimientos. Ante esta situacion se requiere contar con herramientas que les permitan a los micro, pequenos y medianos restaurantes y bares, competir con alguna posibilidad de exito cuando se enfrentan a estos negocios que utilizan estrategias muy agresivas y muy bien pensadas de marketing. Es en este ambiente altamente competitivo, que los duenos y administradores de restaurantes y bares que no pertenecen a estas corporaciones, requieren aplicar un marketing con un enfoque practico, utilizando metodos y procedimientos que les posibiliten implementar planes y programas eficaces para lograr un desarrollo rentable de sus inversiones.
