Abstract

This monograph examines the specifics of legal regulation, as well as the issues associated with various forms and methods of compensation for damage to health. The author draws attention to the fact that the key to understanding the specifics of such legal relationships lies in the recognition that their emergence and development, as a rule, is associated with the application of not one, but several legal forms and methods of compensation, in conjunction with general and specific rules for determining the amount of payments to the victim. The reader is invited to familiarize themselves with the development of forms and methods of compensation for damage caused by damage to health in our country—from the imperial period to the present day—as well as how modern forms and methods of compensation operate within the framework of special legal regimes provided for certain categories of victims: victims of industrial accidents, road traffic accidents, and medical errors; persons injured as a result of defects in goods, work, and services, or adverse environmental impacts; and participants in special military operations.
