Bulanık-Malazgirt (Muş) Havzası’nın İklim Özellikleri

Abstract

Iklim, cografi cevrenin sekillenmesini ve insan yasamini cok yakindan kontrol eden bir etmen olup, etkileri uzun yillar boyunca ortaya cikar. Bulanik-Malazgirt (Mus) Havzasi, Dogu Anadolu Bolgesi’nin “Yukari Murat-Van Bolumu” icinde ve bu bolumun de orta kesimlerinde yer alir. Bulanik-Malazgirt (Mus) Havzasi, fiziki ve beseri cografya sartlari bakimindan kendine has ozellikler tasimakla birlikte bilhassa iklim ozellikleri (siddetli karasallik) acisindan cevresinden farkli bir gorunum arz etmektedir. Dogu Anadolu Bolgesi’nde onemli bir konumda bulunan Bulanik-Malazgirt (Mus) Havzasi’nin iklim ozelliklerini sekillendiren faktorleri, Cografi bir bakisla ortaya koyan herhangi bir calisma mevcut degildir. Bu cercevede bu calismanin amaci, Bulanik-Malazgirt (Mus) Havzasi’nin iklim ozelliklerini etkileyen planetar ve fiziki cografya faktorlerini, Cografya biliminin prensipleri ve arastirma yontemleri ile ortaya koymaktir. Bu amac dogrultusunda inceleme sahasi ve cevresinde bulunan istasyonlarin meteorolojik verileri, Sayisal Yukselti Modeli (DEM) ve sayisal topografya haritalari Cografi Bilgi Sistemleri (CBS) ve istatistik programlari ile analiz edilmistir. Analiz calismalari sonucunda inceleme sahasinin iklimi uzerinde temelde planetar faktorler (cografi enlem, genel hava dolasimina bagli hava kutleleri, basinc sartlari) rol oynamakla birlikte yukselti, orografi, baki, buyuk jeomorfolojik uniteler gibi fiziki cografya sartlari, planetar faktorleri buyuk oranda degisime ugratmaktadir. Inceleme sahasinin ortalama sicakligi 7.1oC, yillik ortalama yagis miktari ise 467.6 mm’dir. Cesitli iklim hesaplamalarina gore ise inceleme sahasi kurak, az nemli bir iklim tipine ait ozellikler tasimaktadir. Bulanik-Malazgirt (Mus) Havzasi, tum bu ozellikleriyle guneyde (Tatvan, Bitlis, Ahlat istasyonlari), batida (Varto) ve kuzeydoguda (Agri) bulunan sahalar ile karsilastirildiginda bu sahalara gore daha kurak ve soguk bir iklim ozelligine sahip oldugu anlasilmaktadir.
