PERFIL DO ÓBITO DE NATIMORTOS COM ENFOQUE NOS DETERMINANTES MATERNOS

Abstract

Objetivo: analisar o perfil do óbito de natimortos com enfoque nos determinantes maternos. Método: estudo descritivo, exploratório e retrospectivo realizado em uma maternidade de referência do Piauí, com 243 natimortos, no ano de 2015, mediante formulário semiestruturado. Resultados: quanto aos aspectos maternos, prevaleceu a faixa etária de 20 a 30 anos (57,2%), residentes em Teresina (47,3%), com menos de 32 semanas de gestação (48,6%) e o parto vaginal (66,3%). As principais causas de óbito dos natimortos foram as síndromes hipertensivas (20,2%), a hipóxia e a anóxia fetal (12,3%), a insuficiência placentária (10,3%) e as infecções (9,9%). A maioria dos óbitos ocorreu antes do trabalho de parto (87,7%), apresentando peso ao nascer menor que 1500 gramas (39,1%). Conclusão: identificou-se que vários determinantes maternos estão presentes na natimortalidade e que o número de natimortos é alto no Piauí, reforçando que a saúde materno-infantil precisa avançar.
