Lesões de Tuberculose Bovina em Abatedouros-Frigoríficos no Brasil: bibliometria

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho foi fazer uma revisão de artigos científicos, publicados em revistas, relacionados à prevalência de tuberculose bovina causada pela bactéria Mycobacterium bovis, em abatedouros-frigoríficos, por meio do método de pesquisa denominado bibliometria na base de dados Scielo. Para a pesquisa, foram utilizadas as seguintes palavras-chave: “Tuberculosis and prevalence and cattle”, “Tuberculosis and cattle”, “Tuberculose e bovinos”. A busca resultou em 40 artigos, dos quais seis foram selecionados para a discussão por estarem relacionados com a prevalência de tuberculose no Brasil, além de demonstrar os linfonodos mais acometidos. Dos artigos analisados, verificou-se um total de 1.879.495 animais abatidos, dos quais 1.233 (0,065%) apresentaram lesões sugestivas de tuberculose, no entanto somente 28 animais (0,0015%) foram confirmados por exames laboratoriais com crescimento de M. bovis. Os linfonodos mais afetados foram os bronquiais com 628 dos animais acometidos (50,93%), seguido pelos mediastinais e parotídeos (ambos com 11,19%), retrofaríngeos (8,11%), pré-escapulares (8,60%) e a soma dos hepáticos, inguinais e isquiáticos totalizaram 7,53 % dos casos. Um dos grandes problemas gerados por esta enfermidade é o prejuízo aos produtores, pois ocorrem descontos ou, até mesmo, perda total nas carcaças e, também, em bovinos reprodutores que estão nas propriedades, pois, uma vez sendo confirmado o resultado positivo, os mesmos devem ser abatidos, sem ressarcimento, conforme prescrito no Plano Nacional de Controle e Erradicação da Brucelose e Tuberculose.
