Abstract

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) represent transferable rights to unique digital assets, such as images, videos, or music, and have seen explosive growth in popularity since early 2021. The number of NFT marketplaces has surged, but most rely on centralized systems for storing digital assets, which contradicts the decentralized ethos of blockchain technology. This project proposes a secure, decentralized platform for trading digital assets as NFTs, allowing users to create and trade. NFTs using Ethereum-based cryptocurrency. Additionally, we explore the technical feasibility of using the Inter Planetary File System (IPFS) for secure, decentralized storage of digital assets to address storage concerns. This initiative also advocates for broader adoption of blockchain technology.
