MANFAAT AIR SEDUHAN BAWANG PUTIH TERHADAP PENURUNAN HIPERTENSI

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penyakit hipertensi merupakan the silent disease karena orang tidak mengetahui dirinya terkena hipertensi sebelum memeriksakan tekanan darahnya. Secara nasional 25,8% penduduk Indonesia menderita penyakit hipertensi. Pengobatan non-farmakologi hipertensi dapat menggunakan tanaman herbal, seperti bawang putih. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian air seduhan bawang putih terhadap penurunan hipertensi. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experiment dan desain yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest Posttest design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sejumlah 15 responden. Uji normalitas yang digunakan ialah uji shapiro-wilk dan teknik analis menggunakan uji T-test paired. Hasil: Hasil uji statistik didapatkan sistol sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan thitung berada diatas ttabel yaitu 14.000 > 1.761, dan diastol sebelum dan sesudah thitung diatas ttabel yaitu 11.180 > 1.761 yang berarti ada pengaruh. Nilai p sistol dan diastol sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan ialah p = 0.000 (p<0.005). Angka koefisien korelasi untuk sistol sebesar 0.962 (96%) yang menunjukkan tingkat perbedaan sangat kuat, sedangkan angka koefisien korelasi diastol sebesar 0.548 (54%) yang menunjukkan tingkat perbedaan termasuk sedang. Simpulan: Ada pengaruh pemberian air seduhan bawang putih terhadap penurunan hipertensi
