Abstract

Os Tumores Neuroendócrinos do colo uterino são muito raros, pelo que o seu diagnóstico é difícil e, por vezes, confundido com outras entidades neoplásicas. Apresentamos um caso de uma mulher de 43 anos, com miomas uterinos e queixas de metrorragias, proposta para histerectomia eletiva, tendo-se diagnosticado, na citologia de rotina pré-operatória um Adenocarcinoma sem outra especificação. Após colpocitologia com biópsia, foi diagnosticado um carcinoma neuro-endócrino do colo uterino, com recurso a técnicas complementares de imunohistoquímica. A doente foi submetida a vários tratamentos, tendo falecido cerca de um ano depois, com doença metastática.
