A origem dos números

Abstract

Estudos comprovam que os números tem origem na pré-história. Para tanto busca-se esclarecer algumas dúvidas e analisar formas de deixar mais claro e interessante o ensino dos diferentes sistemas de numeração. Para tanto buscar-se-á responder algumas questões: O homem já contava na época das cavernas? Será que os números sempre existiram? Os números que usamos hoje sempre foram escritos dessa maneira? Existiram outros sistemas de numeração? Com os estudos bibliográficos respondemos as questões e concluímos que mesmo nos dias atuais, podemos encontrar em nosso meio pessoas com culturas diferentes que utilizavam outras formas de representar quantidades. Um bom exemplo seria uma tribo de índios da Amazônia, mais especificamente os mundurucus, eles contam apenas até cinco, seu modo de vida não apresenta nenhuma necessidade de sistemas de numeração mais complexos. Parece até um pouco estranho nos dias atuais com tantas formas de tecnologia e inovações, uma tribo que ainda vive com um sistema de numeração tão rudimentar. Mas por isso se torna tão interessante estes tipos de estudo que resgatam teorias interessantes que não paramos para analisar e ver o quão complexas elas foram em sua época.
