Dissertação (mestrado) — Universidade de Brasília, Centro de Desenvolvimento Sustentável, Departamento de Antropologia, Faculdade de Educação, Faculdade UnB Planaltina, Instituto de Ciências Sociais, 2017. ; The creation of the National Commission for the Sustainable Development of Traditional Peoples and Communities (CNPCT), expanded the debates on identity recognition, territorial destination and public policy construction by the Brazilian State, seeking, among other things, to advance new forms of regularization of traditionally occupied territories and to specify the public policies, although it is realized that, until the moment there have been no significant advances in any of the two issues. The paper chronicles the period between the creation of the CNPCT and the current moment of creation, structuring and installation of the National Council of Traditional Peoples and Communities, with the analysis of the governmental action in this process. ; A criação da Comissão Nacional de Desenvolvimento Sustentável dos Povos Comunidades Tradicionais (CNPCT), ampliou os debates sobre reconhecimento identitário, destinação territorial e construção de políticas públicas pelo Estado brasileiro, buscando, dentre outras questões, avançar na construção de novas formas de regularização de territórios tradicionalmente ocupados e especificar as políticas públicas, ainda que se perceba que, até o momento não houve avanços significativos em nenhuma das duas questões.
