Monografia (graduação)—Universidade de Brasília, Faculdade de Comunicação, Departamento de Jornalismo, 2011. ; O presente trabalho monográfico pretende descrever como a AFROPRESS, Agência de Informação Multiétnica, pratica um outro agendamento da notícia. A Afropress é uma agência de notícias voltada para a questão do negro. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o posicionamento da Agência de Notícias Afropress no contexto da relação Neutralidade Jornalística e do Engajamento Jornalístico, considerando sua intenção de visibilização do negro brasileiro. Para isso se fará necessário explicar como é o racismo brasileiro, a importância dos resultados da Conferência de Durban para o combate ao racismo no Brasil, tratar do conceito de notícia, de valor-notícia, entre outros. Tentando dar uma noção prática do trabalho da agência, exemplificamos com um caso que foi coberto por ela e que teve algum destaque.
