Abstract

Es un honor para mí estar presente en este primer congreso de políticas públicas de salud y cáncer. Considero que esta es una iniciativa sumamente importante y ambiciosa, de alcance regional y, ¿por qué no?, macrorregional. Su objetivo es abordar y profundizar en temas cruciales como la política de salud y cáncer. (...) Este congreso cuenta con extraordinarios ponentes, y agradezco la convocatoria realizada por la doctora Liliana. Es esencial que, más allá de las políticas, se asignen presupuestos adecuados para la implementación, supervisión y obtención de resultados efectivos en la prevención y curación del cáncer. Nuestra casa de estudios, al igual que otras universidades, tiene la responsabilidad de formar profesionales íntegros en el área de la salud, quienes serán la columna vertebral de la implementación de estas políticas.
