Pessoa e o drama russo: leituras e influências na primeira fase do Teatro Estático

Abstract

Entre 1915 e 1916, Fernando Pessoa leu dois autores russos que acabaram por ter influências e correspondências temáticas e formais com o teatro que o autor português estava a escrever nessa mesma altura: Anton Tchekhov e Nikolai Evreinov. Mediante a análise deste caso, o artigo pretende explorar o papel do teatro na produção literária pessoana e as particularidades do drama enquanto género que permitiram desenvolver parte da estética de despersonalização.
