Abstract

Com o objetivo de pensar as implicações entre o comum e o singular em Herberto Helder, proponho uma leitura que faz dialogar as perspectivas de criação respectivamente à Herberto Helder e Fernando Pessoa, com foco na questão fáustica. Trata-se de sondar aspectos ligados à criação literária, seus limites e potencialidades no que se refere aos questionamentos destinados à questão do (auto)conhecimento em cada um dos autores. Leva-se em conta o imaginário de Fausto na tradição literária em relação ao modernismo (representado por Fernando Pessoa) e à contemporaneidade portuguesa (representada por Herberto Helder).
