The purpose of this thesis is to present human trafficking as one of the most serious crimes and constantly evolving. Although it has conventionally already ended by 1926 through contracts from the League of Nations, followed by number of contracts, the crime of human trafficking continues to employ today and a major concern for the area gets and the difficulty of combating it because the many different forms. The definition of the crime of human trafficking has evolved considerably over the years since the first contract in 1904 for the suppression of trafficking in women through the 1949 Convention for the Suppression of Human Trafficking and Exploitation of the Prostitution of Others. In jurisprudence international courts have dwelt upon the crime of trafficking in different aspects of pursuing its general policy of the international community for zero tolerance in this crime. The ECtHR, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia have engraved with the judgments guidelines regarding criminal repression and the fight against crime. Despite the concerted efforts of the international legal order to regulate conventional and the combat, the results are not particularly encouraging. The most important step to eliminate this phenomenon will change the attitude of society itself. Zero tolerance offenses related to trafficking, in whatever form it may take, is perhaps the most important step to combat it.
