The present diplomatic work presents the selection and installation of ERP systems in enterprises. There is an effort for all parameters to be reported for the implementation and the adoption of such exigent system. Initially in the first chapter there is an introduction in the operational systems with certain important historical elements for the development of ERP in the passage of years, followingly reports in the basic processes which carry out in an organism, introductive criteria for the choice of ERP afterwards phases of usage and certain factors of success. In the second unit is realized the examination of international and Greek bibliography, in which are also mentioned many very interesting articles on the subject of the selection of ERP, problems in their installation, success factors moreover how much they influence an enterprise. In the Third unit the methodology is reported and the example of the case study, of two Greek enterprises that has adopted an ERP system in the recent past years . Besides in the fourth unit is presented the study in the enterprises with questionnaires with which existed collection of data and export of conclusions and tables with the help of statistical parcel spss which is finally analyzed in the fifth chapter.
