The aim of this research is to understand the effects of EMI on basic analog building blocks such as current mirrors, OpAmps, and bandgap references, and subsequently develop practical EMI immune solutions. This research also looks into effects of EMI on wireline receivers due to the conducted disturbances through the channel. It also develops a methodology to help emulate an electromagnetic environment for the purpose of circuit simulations. Thus in conclusion, this research has designed, fabricated, and demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed EMI immune solutions, and also developed analytical models to better understand the effect of various circuit parameters on the EMI performance of a circuit.
