Betrachtungsweisen der Höflichkeit

Abstract

Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit beginnt mit einer Betrachtung der allgemeinen Aspekte und der historischen Entwicklungen des Phänomens Höflichkeit. Anschließend werden vor allem sprachwissenschaftliche Theorien, die in Verbindung mit verbaler Höflichkeit gebracht werden können, Theorien zur sprachlichen Höflichkeit und grammatische Dimensionen der deutschen Sprache, die für den Bereich Höflichkeit relevant sind, näher erklärt. Besonderes Augenmerk wird in dieser Arbeit jedoch auf die Höflichkeit in deutschsprachigen Entschuldigungen gelegt. Charakteristische Eigenschaften von Entschuldigungen, Entschuldigungsstrategien, Modifizierungsstrategien zu Entschuldigungen und soziale Faktoren, die die Entschuldigungshandlung beeinflussen können, werden in der Theorie genau erläutert und später im praktischen Teil ausführlich analysiert. Das Korpus des Analyseteils besteht aus Fragebögen und aus Alltagsbeobachtungen zu mündlichen Entschuldigungen.
