Abstract

Das Thema Volumenberechnung von Drehkegeln und Pyramiden ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Mathematikunterrichts sowohl in der Sekundarstufe 1 als auch in der Sekundarstufe 2. Es verbindet die Analysis und die Geometrie, zwei große Bereiche der Mathematik, sowie die elementare und höhere Mathematik und hat eine hohe Komplexität, z.B. weil die Beweise teilweise die Integralrechnung in mehreren Dimensionen voraussetzen. Diese Arbeit widmet sich diesem Thema und hat zum Ziel, den Ist-Zustand für die Unterrichtssituation zu erheben sowie Verbesserungspotentiale für die Unterrichtssituation aufzuzeigen. Dies geschieht durch die Beschreibung der vorhandenen Methoden, Sätze, geometrischen, elementaren und analytischen Beweise und anschaulichen Darstellungen betreffend die Vo-lumenberechnung von Drehkegeln und Pyramiden, die Darstellung zum Lehrplanbezug, eine Zusammenstellung der konkreten Ausführung im Unterricht anhand einer ausgewählten Sammlung von aktuellen Schulbuchreihen und die Gegenüberstellung der drei genannten Punkte. Die beiden Hauptergebnisse dieser Arbeit sind die Vorstellung eines neuen, elementaren Beweises für die Volumenformel eines Drehkegels bzw. einer Pyramide, der sich ausschließ-lich auf den Satz von Cavalieri sowie elementare Überlegungen stützt, sowie das Aufzeigen von Verbesserungspotentialen für die Unterrichtssituation auf der Basis des Ist-Zustandes.

The topic of volume calculation of circular cones and pyramids is an important part of math-ematics lessons in both secondary level 1 and secondary level 2. It combines the analysis and the geometry, two major areas of mathematics, as well as the elementary and higher mathematics and is highly complex, e.g. because the proofs sometimes require integral cal-culus in several dimensions. This thesis is dedicated to this topic and aims to assess the cur-rent teaching situation and to identify potential for improvement for the teaching situation. This is done by describing the existing methods, the theorems, the geometric, elementary and analytical proofs and the illustrative representations concerning the volume calculation of circular cones and pyramids, by presenting the curriculum reference, by compiling the con-crete implementation in the classroom based on a selected collection of current schoolbook series and by comparing the three points mentioned. The two main results of this thesis are the presentation of a new, elementary proof for the volume formula of a circular cone or a pyramid, which is based exclusively on Cavalieri's theorem and elementary considerations, as well as the identification of potential for im-provement for the teaching situation based on the current situation.
