Enformasyon Çağında Türkiye

Abstract

Bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri (BİT) hem kendi sektöründe hem de diğer sektörlerde üretkenliğin ve yeniliğin artmasını sağlamaktadır. Bu şekilde, BİT’ler ekonomik büyüme ve kalkınma açısından önemli bir sektör olmaktadır. Enformasyon çağında artan iletişim ağları ile birlikte toplumlar içinde ve toplumlar arasında enformasyon alışverişi hız kazanmıştır. Bu süreç dünya ile bütünleşen Türkiye’de ve diğer birçok ülkede ekonomik ve toplumsal boyutta değişim başlatmıştır. Bu çalışmada TÜİK ve TÜBİSAD tarafından yayınlanan bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri verileri üzerinden toplumsal ve sektörel bir analiz yapılmaktadır. Sonuç olarak, Türkiye’nin bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri ürünleri talebi hızla artarken, üretiminin bu sürecin çok gerisinde kaldığı belirlenmiştir.
