Gas dynamic problems of real gases can be treated in a most general way by the use of the Beattie-Bridgeman equation of state and a specific heat depending upon temperature and pressure based on the spectroscopic measurements. The results in the form of gas dynamic relations between gas properties and geometrical quantities determining the flow configuration may be presented in terms of specified constants with the Crocco Number as independent variable.
