of attack to the approach flow were changed. SD’s frequency was changed within the range of 0)715 Hz (which was limited by the experimental setup parameters). The alternating sinusoidal voltage frequency of 50 kHz and amplitude of 3,5 kV was applied to DBD’s electrodes. The flow field was analyzed by means of Stereo Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) at a distance of 20)40 cm from the trailing edge. An experiment showed that at a certain DBD’s electrodes orientation the value of vorticity in the vortex core can be reduced from 500 s)1 to 400 s)1. It is also appeared that DBD initiation at a wing end face leads to reduction of the vortex core size. After analyzing the experimental results with a SD initiation the influence of the discharge was found at the greater angles of attack, while at small angles of attack the effect was not observed. An experiment showed that the effect from the SD was detected more on a greater speed and greater distance from the wing trailing edge.
