The numerical modelling of reacting supersonic flow in a generic configuration at low enthalpy revealed a strong effect of the selection of the reaction model on the solution. This effect was verified through calculation experiments with the use of the three-dimensional version of SPARK. Additionally, a mixing, non-reacting calculation was conducted to provide a comparison with the reacting case. 6 refs.
