Abstract

El objetivo fue evaluar el efecto que produce la inclusión de xilanasa en dietas basadas en maíz amarillo y con energía metabolizable disminuida sobre la producción de pollos de carne, determinando además la retribución económica de su inclusión en las dietas. Se utilizaron 176 pollos machos Cobb 500 de un día de edad (distribuidos completamente al azar en 4 tratamientos con 4 réplicas de 11 aves cada una), cada grupo fue alimentado ad libitum durante un periodo de 42 días. Las dietas experimentales fueron: T1 - dieta control, T2 - dieta disminuida en 50 kcal/kg de alimento más xilanasa 100 g/ton, T3 - dieta disminuida en 70 kcal/kg de alimento más xilanasa 100 g/ton y T4 - dieta disminuida en 100 kcal/kg de alimento más xilanasa 100 g/ton. Se evaluaron los índices productivos: ganancia de peso, consumo de alimento, conversión alimenticia, mortalidad. Los índices productivos obtenidos presentaron diferencia significativa (P<0.05) por los tratamientos dietarios, la mejor retribución económica del alimento se observó en los pollos alimentados con la dieta del T3.
