La integración de planes de pensiones de empleo con la Seguridad Social en España: Efectos sobre las tasas de sustitución

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza un proceso de integración de planes de pensiones de empleo de prestación definida con el sistema público de la Seguridad Social en España. En él, se describe el modelo teórico que recoge la estructura de estos sistemas de pensiones. Aplicando el método Offset en el proceso de integración de ambos sistemas de previsión, se comprueba que las tasas de sustitución de las pensiones, dependiendo de cuál sea el objetivo de sustitución del salario final fijado por el empresario promotor del plan, se ven modificadas, tanto más cuanto mayor sea el nivel salarial de los trabajadores que integran el plan de pensiones. Este análisis se realiza para el horizonte temporal 1985-2020, considerando diferentes tipos de planes de pensiones como son el Final-Pay y el Career-Pay en sus modalidades Flat Benefit y Unit Benefit.
