Abstract

Se presentaron los usos, limitaciones y reglas básicas para el diseño de estudios y prevalencia. Los estudios de prevalencia pueden ser analíticos o descriptivos de acuerdo con su uso. Se enfatiza sobre las fuentes de los datos, aspectos del diseño análisis estadísticos. Se presentan ejemplos de estudios de cada tipo.
