Abstract

採食および絶食時の成長中めん羊(30~34週齢,平均体重22.1kg)の門脈系内臓と肝臓における正味のアミノ酸代謝量を血漿流量と静-動脈濃度差の測定により求め,同様に求めた成めん羊(13ヵ月齢,平均体重49.2kg)の結果と比較した.アルファルファヘイキューブを1日当り1,000g(維持量の1.5~2.0倍)を摂取した成長中めん羊では,門脈系内臓からの正味のアミノ酸放出量の日内変動パターンに門脈血漿流量の変動パターンとの相関が認められたのに対して,1日当り1,100g(ほぼ維持量)を摂取した成めん羊ではそのような相関は観察されなかった.しかし,メタボリックボディサイズ(W0.75)当りに換算した門脈系内臓における正味の一日アミノ酸代謝量は,その質および量ともに両群間にほとんど差異は認められず,門脈血中に出現するアミノ酸窒素とアンモニア窒素の比率も両群で同じであった.また4日間の絶食により,両群とも門脈系内臓からのアミノ酸放出はほとんど無くなった.採食時の成長中めん羊の肝臓では成めん羊では観察されないイソロイシンとバリンの有意な放出が認められた.総必須,総非必須,総アミノ酸のW0.75当りの正味の肝臓取り込み量は,統計的有意差はないものの,採食,絶食両実験とも成長中めん羊の方が少ない傾向を示し,その傾向は絶食実験の場合に顕著であった.この肝臓の代謝傾向を反映して,成長中めん羊の総内臓(門脈系内臓+肝臓)では,成めん羊よりも採食時の正味のアミノ酸放出量が多く,逆に絶食時の正味の取り込み量が少くなる傾向を示した.この様な成長中めん羊の総内臓におけるアミノ酸代謝は,末梢組織の活発なアミノ酸利用に対応したものと考えられ,その調節に肝臓の代謝が重要な役割りを果している事が示唆された.
