Robertsonian Translocation in Japanese Black Cattle

Abstract

黒毛和種の雌牛50頭および雄牛5頭の計55頭について,白血球培養法により染色体を検査した.その結果,55頭中の20頭に常染色体のロバートソン型転座が認められた.これらの転座染色体をG-バンド染色により分染同定した結果,2n=59, t (1q, 29q)を示したものが20頭中の5頭,2n=59, t(5q, 21q)を示したものが13頭,2n=58, t (1q, 29q), t (5q, 21q)を示したものが2頭であった.C-バンドによりヘテロクロマチンを調べた結果,1/29転座染色体はモノセントリックな融合により,5/21転座染色体はダイセントリックな融合により形成されたものであることが証明された.1/29転座ヘテロの雌牛2頭および5/21転座ヘテロの雌牛2頭の5年間における繁殖成績は,同一牛群内で正常染色体を保有する16頭の平均と比べて,顕著な差は認めなかった.
