Studies on Estimation of Grazing Capacity and Utility of Mountainous Grass Land

Abstract

1) わが国の人工草地の牧養力を見積もるには,植生調査の結果から求められる米国式見積り法よりも,重量法と積算優占度の組合せによる見積り法のほうが,草地の実態をつかむのに適していると思う.2) 人工草地における収量は,本試験の結果からいつて,表土の燐酸,容水量および粘土含有率から推定すると,最も有意な成績が得られると思う.それで,この目的のために,草地の違いによる要因と,傾斜のelevationによつて生ずる要因とを除いた剩余の平方和と積和から,推定式を組み立てた.その有意な推定式は,次のとおりである.Y=0.435+14.980X1-0.005X2+0.056X3ただし,X1は熱塩酸可溶燐酸,X2,容水量,X3は粘土含有率.3) 傾斜地における低位と高位の性質の相違を確認する方法を考えた.両部位の計測項目をできるだけ多く用いて判定するため,PEARSONの種族類似係数を応用して,草地の類似係数を計算した結果,人工草地および自然草地の傾斜の低位と高位は明らかに別個の群に属する性質のものと判定された.4) 傾斜の低位と高位に生産する牧草の間の栄養収量の差を検定した.両部位の牧草収量をTDN(kg)で表わし,その差を分散分析によつて検定した結果,有意の差が認められた.高位の栄養収量/低位の栄養収量は0.815であつた.5) 牧草中のイネ科とマメ科の(F'+D'+C'/3に,重量の重みづけをした数値の和を2分して得た値を生産率とした.生産率の分散分析の結果は,草地の違いによる誤差要因が最大であつたが,傾斜のelevationに基づく誤差要因も無視できなかつた.傾斜の低位の生産率の平均値に対する高位の生産率の平均値の比は0.816であつて,前記の栄養収量の比とほとんど同じであつた.以上の結果から,本試験において対象とした,傾斜度12~15度および斜長100m程度の人工草地では,傾斜の高位の生産力(または牧養力)を,低位のそれの81.5%程度に見積もることによつて,適切にして安全な傾斜草地の管理計画がたてられると思う.
