Comprensión del rezago educativo en la competencia lectora en telesecundarias veracruzanas: percepciones y retos

Abstract

El artículo analiza la competencia lectora en telesecundarias de Veracruz, partiendo del contexto de rezago educativo en zonas rurales y marginadas. Su objetivo es comprender los factores y percepciones que explican la carencia en el aprendizaje lector mediante un enfoque cualitativo sustentado en la Teoría Fundamentada, con entrevistas a diversos actores educativos en siete telesecundarias. Los resultados revelan tres dimensiones clave: el significado polifacético de la lectura, la diversidad de estrategias pedagógicas aplicadas y los múltiples obstáculos socioeconómicos, institucionales y familiares que dificultan el desarrollo lector. Se identifica que las estructuras organizacionales y las prácticas docentes tradicionales no logran responder a la complejidad del fenómeno, profundizando las brechas tras la pandemia. Se concluye que la atención a la competencia lectora requiere estrategias integrales, pertinentes y flexibles que promuevan el gusto y sentido de la lectura como práctica sociocultural para el aprendizaje y la inclusión social.
