Authors: Zenaida Avila Aguilar;

Aprendizaje basado en problemas

Abstract

Problem-Based Learning: A Training Experience with Engineering Professors Society demands that the training of engineers should be based on the development of skills and attributes that allow them to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems with critical thinking; for this reason the objective of this research was to design, implement and analyze implementation results a Pilot Training Program for engineering professors at the Universidad Veracruzana, created for professors who teach mathematics subjects design, implement and evaluate didactic sequences with focus on Problem Based Learning. The design of the Program was carried out based on training models and Problem-Based Learning, and it was implemented to 115 professors during 3 modules. As a result, professors were observed to be open to designing problems with another approach and evaluation rubrics, and they also felt motivated to continue implementing Problem-Based Learning in the classroom.
