Síndrome Nefrite Túbulo Intersticial Aguda e Uveíte (TINU): Um Caso Clínico

Abstract

A nefrite intersticial aguda é uma causa comum de lesão renal aguda induzida na maioria dos casos por exposição a fármacos. Pode também ter etiologia autoimune, infiltrativa ou infeciosa. Numa pequena percentagem de doentes com nefrite intersticial aguda (5-10%) ocorre associação com uveíte definindo, assim, a síndrome nefrite túbulo-intersticial aguda e uveíte (TINU). Os autores apresentam um caso clínico de nefrite intersticial aguda em que a presença de uveíte associada a exclusão de outras causas permitiu o diagnóstico de TINU. Apresenta-se este caso pelo desfecho diagnóstico menos expectável e pela importância de um elevado índice de suspeição.
