DELINEAMENTO EXPERIMENTAL DE PROTETOR SOLAR PARA PELES NEGRAS

Abstract

No Brasil, muitas são as condições que favorecem à exposição solar e contribuem com o aumento do câncer de pele em pessoas de todas as raças e etnias, entretanto, pouco tem sido feito para promover a prevenção desse tipo de manifestação entre pardos e pretos. Para amenizar esse risco, os protetores solares são desenvolvidos com o objetivo principal oferecer à pele fotoproteção contra a radiação UVB e UVA. Apesar da enorme tecnologia e avanços da ciência, ainda é difícil para as pessoas pardas e pretas encontrarem fotoprotetores que combinem com seus tons. O objetivo do presente trabalho consistiu em desenvolver um protetor solar para peles negras e determinar praticamente o fator de proteção solar contra os raios UVB e UVA. Uma emulsão cremosa foi formulada com associação de filtros solares orgânicos e inorgânicos onde foram incorporados pigmentos microencapsulados de óxido de ferro. Após produção a amostra foi submetida ao estudo de estabilidade e foi testada topicamente apresentando cobertura homogênea em peles negras. O teste de eficácia também foi realizado. Os resultados indicaram que o protetor solar desenvolvido apresentou FPS 30,5; FPUVA 10,3 e comprimento de onda crítico 378,3nm estando de acordo com as exigências previstas para este tipo de produto.
