Perbandingan VEP1 pasien PPOK dan non-PPOK Rumah Sakit Sumber Waras tahun 2024

Abstract

Volume Ekspirasi Paksa Detik Pertama (VEP₁) merupakan parameter penting dalam pemeriksaan spirometri untuk mendeteksi gangguan fungsi paru terutama penyakit paru obstruktif kronik (PPOK). Fungsi paru diketahui mengalami penurunan secara fisiologis seiring bertambahnya usia terutama pada individu dengan paparan faktor risiko seperti merokok dan polusi udara. Studi ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan nilai VEP₁ antara pasien PPOK dan non-PPOK dengan usia lebih dari 40 tahun di Rumah Sakit Sumber Waras pada bulan Agustus 2024. Studi ini merupakan studi observasional analitik dengan desain cross-sectional dan sumber data sekunder berupa rekam medis hasil spirometri pasien di RS Sumber Waras. Subjek terdiri dari 67 pasien yaitu 60 pasien PPOK dan 7 pasien non-PPOK. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata VEP₁ (L) pada kelompok PPOK sebesar 1,09 L (SD = 0,49) sedangkan pada kelompok non-PPOK sebesar 1,00 L (SD=0,29). Nilai prediksi VEP₁ pada kelompok PPOK sebesar 66,58% (SD=17,09) sementara pada kelompok non-PPOK sebesar 73,86% (SD =13,61). Independent t-test menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna secara statistik pada kedua parameter dengan nilai p = 0,652 untuk VEP₁ (L) dan p = 0,254 untuk VEP₁ prediksi (p > 0,05). Nilai VEP₁ antara Pasien PPOK dan non-PPOK RS Sumber Waras secara statistik tidak berbeda secara signifikan.
