Pengaruh penyakit jantung bawaan sianotik dan asianotik terhadap pertumbuhan pasien balita periode 2018-2020 di RSUD Dr. Chasbullah Abdul Majid Bekasi

Abstract

Penyakit jantung bawaan (PJB) ialah kelainan struktur dan fungsi jantung yang didapati sejak dalam kandungan. Penyakit jantung ini diklasifikasikan menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu PJB sianotik dan asianotik. Salah satu komplikasi dari PJB adalah gangguan pertumbuhan. Studi ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh penyakit jantung bawaan terhadap pertumbuhan pasien balita dengan PJB. Studi analitik observasional dengan metode potong lintang ini dilakukan di RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdul Majid Kota Bekasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengobservasi data sekunder yang didapat melalui rekam medis. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisis hubungan antar variabel menggunakan uji chi-square. Sampel studi ialah 43 balita yang terdiri dari 15 balita dengan PJB sianotik dan 28 balita dengan PJB asianotik. Sebanyak 28 (58%) balita memiliki berat bada kurang hingga sangat kurang dan sebanyak 20 (46,5%) balita memiliki panjang/tinggi badan pendek hingga sangat pendek. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara penyakit jantung bawaan sianotik dan asianotik terhadap berat badan (p-value = 0,006; PRR = 2,02) maupun panjang/tinggi badan (p-value = 0,001; PRR = 2,8). Kesimpulan studi ini ialah keadaan sianotik pada penyakit jantung bawaan lebih besar memengaruhi pertumbuhan balita dibandingkan PJB yang asianotik.
